Leslie Bulch ATV Ride
After a couple of weekends of dusting off the quads and bikes a group of us decided to head out to Leslie Gulch for a few hours of riding. If you haven't been to this place it is a great place to spend a day riding, hiking and taking pictures.

Leslie Gulch is a 15 mile dirt road from HWY 95 to the upper end of Lake Owyhee and has lots of scenic rock formations and hiking trails on the way. The road is wide enough to take a jeep or truck so watch out for big toys if you are riding a dirt bike or ATV.

You might want to plan to go early in the summer because it does get hot on trail and their isn't much shade. If you explore some of the side trails you can find some hidden caves and steep cliffs.

We rhode down to the lake and then explored a side road on the way back that ended with a small hiking trail to a hugh cave. I think we could have hike all the way down to the lake, but Adam didn't much like hiking in his riding boots, I would suggest you bring along an extra pair of shoes if you plan to do any hiking.

Our ride was about 50 miles total and took about 5 hours, but we took plenty of breaks for pictures and snacks. If you watch the hill sides you might even see some wildlife. We ran into a few deer on the way, but they didn't much like our loud bikes and took off running.

We hope to go back some time and explore some other trails.

Enjoy.
